Burners

Porous medium burner

The porous medium combustion burner works under the principle of combustion of a gaseous fuel occurring in contact or in the interior of a solid porous medium. When this occurs part of the energy released is transferred by radiation and conduction, to the porous medium and this at the same time, transfers it to the air-fuel premix. The previous allows attaining a combustion type known as super-adiabatic combustion, in which temperatures reached are greater to the maximum possible in a conventional combustion condition.

Jet in hot coflow burner

Atmospheric burner with an aeration factor greater than 0.8 of reduced volume per unit

The majority of technologies developed in the world are developed having as basis local atmospheric conditions of geographical sites found at sea level, due to the fact that the majority of important cities in the world meet this characteristic. In equipment involving combustion processes, to the extent the equipment is at a greater height above sea level performance is negatively affected. At greater heights above sea level, air density diminishes and therefore the availability of oxygen is lower hindering equipment from reaching optimum performance levels. The aforementioned causes power losses, in addition to contaminating emissions, as carbon monoxide, originated as a derivative of incomplete combustion in the absence of enough oxygen.

Induction Air Burner

This burner has as main aim developing combustion processes applicable in reduced spaces, where high temperatures may be required. The system consists of a burner and a fan, the burner is constituted by an injector, mixer and an air-fuel rate regulation valve. To guarantee efficient and safe operation, there is an ignition and flame detection device.

Power: Up to 150 KW and several geometrical configurations.

Application: High and low temperature processes in the food, heat treatment, foundry and drying industries.

Blue cone burner
